Botswana
The sheer contrast between Namibia and Botswana makes the combination of the two one of the most varied safaris on the African continent.
Botswana is most famous for the colossal Okavango Delta. A huge flood plain that fills with crystal clear water for much of the year, results in all the resident wildilfe living in knee deep gin clear water filled with lillypads.
With all this water in an otherwise dry region, the migration of bird life and mammal life is truly mind-blowing.
Namibia
Namibia is one of the most remote and wild countries in Africa. A country twice the size of France, with less than 2% of the population per square mile, you can expect to enjoy every location to yourself.
Namibian safaris although containing incredibly interesting desert adapted animals, is less about the wildlife and more about the gargantuan landscapes. Some sand dunes stand thousands of feet tall, stretching hundreds of miles wide, running directly into the cold Atlantic Ocean, the scenery is unique on our planet.
